Anti Wrinkle Injections

WHAT IS WRINKLE RELAXING TREATMENT?

Wrinkle Relaxing treatment contains botulinum toxin also known as Botox, which blocks the nerve impulses responsible for muscle contraction by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause lines and creases to appear. 

Botox has been used for a range of non-surgical procedures safely and successfully for over 20 years. We know that pre-mature crow's feet, expression lines and frown lines around the eyes and the forehead can leave us looking a little tired and older than we feel inside.

The procedure will cause a decrease in movement in a specific area, and the manner in which the facial muscles will now inter-relate. This treatment leads to decreased facial tension, while it smooths the skin and stops other existing lines from being exacerbated.

HOW WILL I FEEL DURING TREATMENT?

The main sensation is that of a short sharp, but transient pinprick. This minor discomfort is the effect of a very fine needle and the product.

You will enjoy a detailed consultation with our highly skilled consultants in our clinic in Mill Hill. This will take into consideration your lifestyle, background, medical history and you will be asked to demonstrate the movement of relevant muscles by performing specific facial expressions.

This treatment can take as little as 10-20 mins and anaesthetic cream can be used, if necessary. Results are stunning and last for up to 3-4 months.

Only specific muscles will need to be addressed. Your very experienced and advanced aesthetic practitioner is an expert in creating a completely natural look, leaving your ability to show expressions intact.

After only a few days, your skin will begin to appear visibly smoother, resulting in a more rested look a fresher appearance.

There are very few after effects associated with injectable treatments. Soreness and mild swelling sometimes occur, but disappear within a short period. Your expert will go into detail and explain how to care for your skin after having the anti-ageing treatment that you choose.

Post-procedural adverse effects of injectable treatments are so rare as to be insignificant. There may be slight bruising, swelling, minor soreness, and/or transit nausea, flu-like symptoms but these are short-lived. You will be given detailed and expert after-care advice.

You will be educated as to how to best care for your skin following your chosen anti-ageing treatment. In rare cases drooping of the eyebrow or eyelid can occur. These are usually rectified without the need for treatment within a couple of weeks.
