HOW DOES IT WORK?
By safely removing the outer layers of skin that have become damaged over time to reveal new, healthy skin layers and giving a more youthful appearance. The active ingredients in a chemical peel work deep into your skin to exfoliate and refresh your complexion. Some products are more aggressive than others and penetrate much deeper. Although the deeper the peel, the greater potential for improvement to the skin, your skin will re-grow and should heal fully regardless of the depth of the peel.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
The intensity of the peel (or depth) will impact the length of potential downtime following a treatment. Some patients are able to return to their normal routines immediately, however, some peels may require several days or even weeks of recuperation. Your therapist will describe the differences in these options in detail.
IS IT NECESSARY TO TAKE A COURSE OF TREATMENTS?
A single treatment will usually show significant improvement, however, for optimum results we would recommend a course of several treatments with a regular top-up.
WHICH INGREDIENTS WILL BE USED DURING THE PROCEDURES?
Environ Peels contains, Lactic Acid or TCA of 2.5%, 5% or 10% to achieve best results tailored for skin type and skin condition. A consultation with our skin care technician will reveal which types of peels and strengths would be best for your particular skin. The goal is to combat ageing skin, sun damage, pigmentation abnormalities and acne scar and only a bespoke prescription for treatment will achieve your best outcome.
How do I prepare my skin for an Environ Cool Peel®?
Use vitamin A products, antioxidants and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily for 3-4 weeks before your treatment to build your skin’s resilience and optimise results.
How to include Environ Cool Peel® Treatments between other aesthetic treatments?
It’s best to wait at least 2 weeks between all treatments. Ask your Skincare Professional for your personalised plan.
Are Environ Cool Peel® Treatments restricted to winter?
No. You can enjoy your Cool Peel treatments all year round. Ensure you apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.
Are Environ Cool Peels safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Cool Peels are safe during pregnancy but should only be done under the guidance of your Medical Professional.
